SHANGHAI - Source has said that, Eugene Chew(邱有仁), former GM of TEQUILA\Digital Shanghai, recently has joined in JWT Shanghai as Digital Strategy Director. Most-recently, Eugene Chew had a freelance time at GroupM and sets up the media agency group's inhouse creative team & social media practice in China, for past nine months. Prior to that, Chew had worked at TBWA\Shanghai for five years at TEQUILA\Digital (aka. Agency.com, formerly). Initially, He took a role of Head of Digital, then BD, and finally General Manager. During TBWA\ tenure, Chew had helped to build up the digital team and won clients such as Apple, Bacardi, Wrigley, UNICEF & Societe Generale etc. Chew started his carreer at RealNetworks and also had stints at Carat, and worked on EMI, Toshiba, Philips, Freedom Furniture and Yum! Brands.
