Various sources told MadisonBoom that, Haier (海尔) has concluded its creative pitch, and split the creative account into three creative agencies. One source from Qingdao revealled that, Ogilvy & Mather will handle creative for washing machine, Guoan will work on air conditioner part, and Beijing advertising company（BAC） will oversee refrigerator products. Ogilvy has worked on Haier's premium brand Casarte, which didn't affect by this review. Publicis Shanghai/Qingdao was creative incumbent on these three product-lines from 2012. One source said, layoff of Publicis Qingdao office may happen soon, considering the loss of all Haier assignments. Another source speculates that, Haier may also call for pitch for its TV sets and PC products.
