Shanghai- Source tells MadisonBoom that, Michael Chu(褚文) had departed from OgilvyPR China(奥美公关) as Chief Strategy Officer, the role which he held for less than one year. "Michael was with us for ten years and he was a wonderful colleague throughout. We know he wanted to do something different and we're delighted he has found that. We will announce his replacement in due course," said Debby Cheung, President, Ogilvy Public Relations, China & Hong Kong . Michael Chu had worked at the WPP's PR Agency for 10 years. Prior to CSO role, he was Managing Partner for OgilvyPR Shanghai office. He also has stints at SK China and PR agency Burson-Marsteller. Michael Chu has joined in local PR agency UTOP Communications(友拓传播) as Shanghai office Head. In last November, Beijing-based UTOP Public Relations had signed a strategic partnership with Shanghai-based local PR agency Zenith Integrated Communications(哲基传播).
