Beijing - Volkswagen Group's Seat has appointed SPRG(北京睿博纵横公关顾问有限公司) on a retainer basis for public relation duties in China. Seat is Volkswagen Group's most recent brand to be launched in Mainland China and this year it aims SRPG will be responsible for providing public relation support such as brand & product communication, event management, media relations and issue management. In addition its duties will include supporting the brands marketing and PR campaign in China as it aims to raise awareness of the brand to Chinese consumers. Currently Seat has 15 dealerships in China covering major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chongquing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Chengdu and Guangzhou. It is currently introducing its Leon brand, with its Ibiza brand expected to be introduced in the second half of the year. At the beginning of the year, Seat named OgilvyOne its digital marketing counsel to develop its digital strategy and presence. Currently, the Volkswagen Group is represented in China by VW, Lamborghini, Skoda and Audi.
